The Civil Wars

Not to be confuesed with that documentary on PBS, The Civil Wars is my new obsession! I'm not the most eloquent so here are some reviews by people who are:
"With care and delicacy, they curate their notes, stitching together a sound that's sharp, arch and almost achingly fine."
Check it out. I'm serious. It will be worth every penny. Get it quick, while the album is 7.99 on itunes. My favorite song is Barton Hallow. When I saw the video it gave me goosebumps. It takes a lot to give me goosebumps. But I tell you what. Their vocals are riduclous. Harmony exquisite. Makes me want to eat biscuits and gravy. Sometimes I miss Tenneesee. The Civil wars helps me feel I still have a part of it with me. Even though I lost my twang a while back.
The Daily News
"With care and delicacy, they curate their notes, stitching together a sound that's sharp, arch and almost achingly fine."
"As aching as their voices and their lyrics may be, it's the music's precision that really beguiles."
"…in its understatement you'll find a beauty that will haunt you."
The San Fransico Chronicle
"…seemingly effortless marriage of melodies…"
The Knoxville News Sentinel
"…so good that it almost sounds illegal."
